Anjula Crocker
Anjula's work explores the themes of obsession & repetitious action in response to her own experience of alcoholism and addictive behaviour.
Often using womens' craft as a reference to concepts of respectability and female occupation, she presents digital images, painting and embroidery.
Repetitive stitch work and brushwork build a visual and metaphorical language around obsession and addiction and the foundation of her work as an artist.
