Five Women had our first exhibition at The Forum, Norwich. Most of the work was hung on Sunday 26th April, with final touches added on Monday morning. Our Private Viewing was on Monday evening and we had a steady flow of guests. Three pieces of work sold on the night which was pleasing for all concerned.
During the week there was a constant flow of visitors, many of whom were eager to chat about the art on show. All five of us gained valuable feedback which was generally very welcome and gave us food for thought. Further sales were made resulting in happy customers and artists alike.
We closed the show on Thursday 30th April much fortified by the whole experience.
So a very big thank you to all who visited, looked, talked to us and bought. Although it is early days post exhibition, we will be back.
Thursday 7th May
We Five ladies had a post exhibition lunch. Everyone bought something to share food wise and Alex photographed the spread.
The feedback from our audience at The Forum was positive. This positivity has encouraged us to consider our future together. We all have ideas and there was some discussion around collaboration.
Our experience of working together has been heartwarming. We all look forward to a creative and supportive future.
